Thought I'd drop this SOTD in this thread. This is a Russian OC three piece that I got in one of the TSD raffles. I cut off one side of the head to make it a SHaDE razor. It works very well.

The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #340 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Russian SHaDE Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I got this Russian DE razor in the TSD raffle last year. On January 2, having never shaved with it, I converted it to a SE razor to use half DE blades. This type of razor is known as a SHaDE razor. Single edge Half Double Edge.
