With the COVID19 stay at home orders, I am watching old BBC shows. Watching The MidSomer Murders season 5 episode 5 (2002), I was presented with this scene. Going through a young man's go bag, DCI Barnaby finds this Gillette Atra razor. I think something has been done in the past, but I could not find the thread. Post and identify razors you see on TV or in the movies.
This is Kyra Shedwick shaving John Travolta in Phenomenon (1996). That looks like a Schick Krona to me. Click on the razor for the shave.
Based on her shave angle, I assume he shaved in between shots and reapplied the shave foam for her shaving...
Like many of us, Fred Flintstone started his shaving journey with an electric. He eventually moved to straights.
I have been watching Foyles War, a British who-done-it set in the 1940s. There is a guy shaving with what looks like a Gillette Ranger Tech. It turns out he is an American and that would explain the Ranger Tech. It is Season 2, Episode 1, mark 53:47.
I love Foyle's War. I wish it was easier to watch the show. Last I checked, the only way to see it was by subscribing to Acorn TV. Is that how you are watching it?
Watching former NFL star Andy Robustelli(NY Giants, late 50's to early 60's)shave on TV was a sight that will always remain with me. I was probably 5, 6 watching it, but some things you ALWAYS remember. It was an ad for Original Rise Shaving Cream.
