I actually think I figured out this graph but now I'm stuck on another one and my friend who has been helping me had to run away


6. If a rock is thrown upward on the planet Mars with a velocity of 10 m/s, it's height in meters at t seconds later is given by y = 10t - 1.86 t ^2

A. Find the average velocity over the given time intervals

(i) [1,2]

(ii) [1,1.5]

(iii) [1,1.1]

and the list goes on, I'm not asking for all the answers though, just how to get them...

 

edit. It looks like on this one you plug in each number from the set and find the differnce. Since it just wants average you should be ok with that.
I also can help with that. I took 2 semesters of calculus based physics and 3 semesters of calculus. I can deffinitly help with math and sciences.

 

you're awesome, I'm pathetically bad at math... I need at least a B in this class for my major. Considering the homework counts as 20% of the class and quizzes are 20% as well I think should be ok, I just need to spend extra time trying to learn everything.

I feel tired. Spent most of the day painting ceilings.

I've got a stuffed up nose and I'm sneezing a lot, too. I think I'm getting allergies. I've never ever had allergies before, so I'm kind of pissed at my immune system now.

Otherwise, I'm fine. I'm thinking of heating up some chili soon. Maybe pour out some port in a glass to go with it.

I'm getting rid of some shaving stuff that I don't need. Anyone have any interest in AOS preshave oil? Pay postage and it's yours.

I am also chilling taking facebook quizes and thinking about uploading my africa pics to my da page

Eh doing ok I guess... I never had problems with allergies until I moved to Arizona. I was ohhh 28 I think and they damn near killed me every year I was there... two times a year as I recall.
