We are both smokers, and my wife has had gastric bypass surgery. She can't drink enough water to stay hydrated if she does go down with a flu/covid/etc. Even healthy young people are dying. Olympic gold medal swimmer got it and said it's the sickest he's ever been.
Being a heavy smoker isnt a good thing, with this virus. Also, your wife's medical issues are a concern. Sorry to hear. ..

Chaff, Fodder, Expendable, or what ever word you wish. Then again, I'm not scared. I feel sorry for those who have to go home to relatives, with medical issues.
I'm essential but can work from home. Most important difference with non-essential is, here in the Netherlands at least, when you're considered essential you can bring your children to daycare.
Try flowers, a good wine, and some good Italian food. Oh, candles and a hot bath too. Then, let's see who is miraculously "Essential" .
