Thank you Jason. I do find the brush to be identical to my Zeniths. I did manage to complete all the work that was required at the client's office. I still have 3 or 4 hours to do sometime this weekend.

I’m a ‘splash of hot water and then lather up’ type of chap myself, Terry. I do always shave right after a shower, though.

 

Nice shave, Evan. I'm glad your first outing with the SRX was successful.

My first shaving brush was an Omega synthetic. I know they've come a long way since then, but it wasn't a great brush. It has since found another home. I'm a huge Omega boar fan, though.

I haven't used Arko for some time. Gonna have to pull the trigger on a small order at some point. This soap turned my shaving world upside down.

Glad to hear you’re not working all weekend, Clint. I’ve got about 3 hours of paperwork to do myself in advance of a fairly important meeting on Tuesday. I think I’ll be doing it Monday.

Hello all. Sticking my head out of the bunker to check in. Last 30 days or so I’ve used the same stuff everyday. Not a rule for technique; just a desire to not make any more decisions in my day than necessary. Amazingly, as I try to kill my 3 year old tub of TOBS, it’s still has LOTS of shaves left in it. Soap must just regenerate itself in my cabinet. Ridiculous.

 

One of your gutsier experiments, Terry--glad that things turned out all right even if the experience made the shaving less pleasant. The prep is almost as important as the shave for me (it's already an uphill battle as it is )

 

Oh, I was also gonna comment that @wristwatchb is the fat guy in the sailor hat in the comic strip, but last time I saw Charlie, I was fat and he was skinny.

In fact, now that I’ve realized his joke was just discriminatory and hurtful, I need to go back to my “safe space”.

 

That is so awesome, Clint! I know that most folks like their stuff all blinged out, but I'm that guy that would rather see my own steel get blued than polished. It looks fantastic, sir

It's one of my favorite Far Side cartoons, Randy. I fully embrace the worker dude as me going for his fill of jelly-filled and chocolate-covered health food items and you as the wise old dude behind the counter juggling the books and scratching his head.
