    I sanded the herder to 400 grit and then honed it. In the future I will get it out it's scales and sand the tang better and polish it.

    The shave was nice.

    Speick shaving stick and proraso green as.

    Shave #93 on the Filly 14.... Soap was 3P lathered with a Thäter boar in a Sterling ‘lather’ bowl, ABC Tobacco Verde balm finished up a BBS shave.

    “Modern”, basic Ralf Aust 5/8. I looked around to find one jimped on both sides of the tang. Shaves like a dream, holds its edge.

    Le Grelot 71 Zenith, cream and AS balm were I Coloniali Rhubarb and a Keyhole 4 mixed the suds. These old Grelot full hollows just shave so well, BDBS on Saturday morning.

    Thank you! I have a habit of using shift knobs when I can find them. This was a Van Chase “Joker” that I put a Silvertip Badger in. Actually not too bad with the ergonomics :).
