The Musgo Real Shaving Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #401 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the J.A. Henckels Rapide Lather Catcher with a J.A. Henckels wedge blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Mennen Skin Bracer AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

I detest commanded festivities, triumphs in rhetoric and goodness. Especially at a time like the present when they are sprayed as fungicides on a wheat field in Ukraine!

Luckily, comme d’habitude, I am alone and do not have to suffer other people’s preferences: I can choose what to do and when to do it.

My gear today, for example, was not imposed by anyone and I was able to select each single component autonomously: I’ve ever found it heavenly, since I was a child!

Easter Sunday Schick Shave, Took out my Stick Schick and still testing this new Schick twin that has been in this razor since bought. The twin ll is a marathon blade and has some life still in it after 30 shaves it has performed.

Razor : Stick Schick injector thyme L series-MFG 1973- gives a good close shave with a Twin blade IMO.
Blade : Schick Twin ll injector (30) (Japanese MFG?) good blade to try if not susceptible to in-grown hairs.
Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore.- one of my favorites with great scent and lather qualities!
brush: Yaqi wolf whiskers 24 mm- nice brush to use.
Pre shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the beard area.
Prep : Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: Fine Fresh Vetiver with witch Hazel + a dollop of Nivea Men balm.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = Great Easter Sunday shave today!

POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and finished with A&E Post-Shave Serum

Now why would you go on and say something like that and ruin the ONLY DAY of the year when I’m aloud to do something like this!!!!!

***EDIT - 2 pass + clean up. Solid shave, but there was a touch of blood that immediately clotted. No alum was needed. Instead of alum I used the Old Spice Lime talc on the front of my neck to calm the irritation. No balm. A rather old-fashioned barbershop method that works extremely well (although some people now are afraid of talc due to lawsuits and such). I don't use talc everyday and only use a few times a month tops anyway.
