GEMonday, April 6th 2020 today for my razor usage, On a fairly new blade I like to advantage of my milder Gem razors that will give excellent shaves regardless. My gold push button performed very well today with minimal operator error. Razor: Gem push button- MFG 1958-65 -good daily driver! Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (2) Excellent blade in every way! Soap: Italian barber Amici- Great inexpensive soap with good lather qualities! Brush: Yaqi timber wolf whiskers 24mm- great brush to use. Pre- shave : shower + a dollop of Aloe Vera gel on beard area. Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3. Post shave: Amici aftershave with witch hazel + AVON "True Gent" balm- now that is a nice balm!!! Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + minimal irritation + 1 weeper on chin area> operator error= great shave today! Have some great shaves!

- Gem OCMM w/ Gem (from Ted Pella) -Stirling Black Cherry soap -Boar vintage wooden handle brush -Avon Bravo a/s I really love the strong scent from the Stirling soap, so I paired it with the somewhat "fruity" Bravo. Really enjoyed that fun combo! For some reason I couldnt get this pic/filr to load so I'm going to explore other resizers.

Avon April shave 11 Brush: PAA Switchback 400 Razor: 1946-47 Gillette Aristocrat Blade: Gillette Super Thin Soap: Pre De Provence no 63 Aftershave: Avon Spicy This was my first time using the PAA Switchback and I'm happy to say it was a success. The knot I glued in stayed in and attached to the handle; even when I shook it out to dry it stayed in place.
I have Leather #5. I've already planned next week's shaves. Maybe if I remember next week, I will break it out.
