    Razor: Fatip Grande
    Blade: Bic Chrome Platinum
    Brush: Yaqi Tuxedo
    Soap: TOBS Peppermint
    After Shave: Proraso Green Balm

    No photo of today's shave I'm afraid... I quite simply forgot to take one - I always take it just prior to the shave (so that it's legit ;)).

    My Fatip already had a blade loaded (and aligned), so I didn't want to mess around with it to find out what it was... I just went ahead and shaved with whatever was in there. It turned out to be a Bic! I will say again that this is a nice blade!

    For the first time, I tried lathering my face, hot washcloth on there, and repeat prior to lathering for the first pass. It made not a jot of difference to the quality of my shave when compared to splashing warm/hot water on my face between 5-1o times. I always shave before my shower too!

    The shave was uneventful. BBS cheeks & DFS+ everywhere else. This is the standard I come to expect from my Fatip shaves. It just doesn't shave as closely as my R41, though!

    Next up... My wife's grandfather's 1963 Aluminium Handled Tech (Made in England) loaded with a GSB. I know that the shave will not be as efficient. I've just pulled it out for sentiment!

    good morning gents,peeled off the original cellophane off the head and handle of this NOS brit tech set..first use..loaded a platinum blade..the h40 loaded and lathered the wm neumann 1907 soap with zero issues..fantastic 2+ pass near bbs ,i always need a day or 2 shaves to dial in these guys ,then perfection..these brit service sets are the equivalent of the pre war techs,a little smoother maybe?.i think this is the civilian version due to the bakelite case.touch of twisted thayers and mont blanc legend night edt to finish..awesome..have an awesome easter sunday if that 's your way,have a great day everyone.. 20200411_112420_edited_edited.jpg

    Nice shave, James! I shave pre-shower myself. The wife and I get ready for work at the same time. The timing works better in a shared bathroom.
