    2020-04-13, Monday

    Today I chose a soap that, for my nostrils, is neither summer nor winter, but a middle ground which makes it perfect when in doubt: extremely involving fragrance, excellent lathering and exceptional slickness.

    Considering what life offers me, I believe that a pleasant shave is the best I can aspire to, apart from a coffin with lumbar support.

    The Tea Tree Body Bar Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #397 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the RazoRock Black Hawk with a Feather Professional blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Tabac After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Wonderful shot & assembly. But, my interest is in the soap, Kaizen which has been mentioned to be the newest base that A&E has been experimenting with. I’ve followed a couple of their posts on FB and this new soap and formula has me intrigued. My question is, in your use of it so far is it as slick and protective as the most recent formula which was just released early in 2020? And would you deem it a better product ready for release to the masses? Thank you in advance for your response, sir. Much appreciated.... :)

    Do the Mike's Vetiver and the Guerlain have any olfactory affinity?
    If I remember well, the Guerlain is somewhat sweet...
