SoS: April 2020

MMMonday April 13th 2020, Its going to be a A.S.R. family offspring shave with the Star bar #4 and like usual it gives me the type of shave I like and shaving with a 100 year old razor is a blast from the past.

Razor : Star bar #4 lather catcher- MFG 1920-(Kampfe brothers- A.S.R "Star brand"umbrella of company's) great razor! Kampfe brothers were producing the first safety razors produced in the USA over 20 yrs before Gillette & Gem even exsited!
Blade: Gem Personna SS PTFE (4) best blade to shave with IMO.
Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Fiore "Firense" very enjoyable soap to use with excellent lather qualities!
Brush : Yaqi Tuxedo knot 24 mm with black marble handle- one of my favorites!
Pre- shave: Shower with CeraVe face scrub+ a dollop of clear Aloe vera gel on beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: AVON " True gent" cologne with witch hazel + Avon True Gent balm- I really like the balm-Home run IMO!
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + no weepers = excellent shave and hit my target sweet spot.

PREP: Cold water rinse
BRUSH: MrEE’s Aluminum Handled Brush w/ Badger/Boar Hybrid Knot
CREAM: Kapo Fresh salted w/ 3 drops of M-Bomb
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and finished with Murray and Lanman Florida Water AS/Cologne Splash

Given that this is not yet a confirmed release base, I'm reluctant to speak in depth about it. I will say that it takes no steps backward. As to whether it demonstrates enough steps forward to make its release fruitful, I can't say. I will also note that A&E's current release base is near perfect in all aspects, thus huge leaps forward are simply not feasible.

I'm sorry I don't understand the question. If you're asking if/when this will be released, I can't say with certainty. The artisan is likely to make subtle changes in the fragrance. Additionally, the label, while beautiful as is, was only done by him with his local set-up for the few tester tubs he distributed. When it's ready for release, he'll use professional labels.
