I know the feeling, Gary! I’ll be doing the same tomorrow! Supposed to be a bright sunny day in the mid 50s. Great convertible weather!

I agree Jeff, Colonial makes some nice razors.

Thank you Tim. I am really enjoying the soap and aftershave.

We’re definitely in agreement, Clint! Their Silversmith is probably my favorite modern DE.

Thank you Jason. Work just shows no signs of letting up. That sure beats the alternative though.

    Well thanks Tim!
But ya gotta be the right kinda person to live out in "the sticks".
It looks beautiful in pictures, sounds like a great time, party on.
But there are difficulties that most who live in cities and even small towns that aren't taken in to consideration.
I recently cut down some trees and with the high winds I now have some rather large trees to remove.
Also the wildlife isn't like a bambi movie.
Also when the sun goes down, it's dark, really dark.
Taking the trash to the road can become unlike any city dwellers would understand.
But it is fine if you like living out here.

Camo jammies, tp cuffs, and a cheese watch--it's a different kind of panache, but panache all the same ;)

    Good evening guys!
I normally don't straight shave 3 days in a row, but it is a nice break from staying inside most of the time.
    Sraight razor shave #156
    W F E Engels 5/8 square point
C-Mon Heritage Collection Super Badger HD
Stirling Bay Rum SS and AS
    Nivea ASB (not pictured)
I did the pasty load method and painted my face. Added bits of water to work the lather numerous times and got the nice, uniform, creamy result. Before the prep, I decided to refresh this razor by Croxing it, then 20 laps on fabric and 40+ on the leather. Two passes gave me an irritation-free IBSS++ with a weeper. The weeper disappeared just with cold water. As I have mentioned, this is Antique April for me so all of my razors will be vintage and this Engel is no exception. This razor is at least 100 yrs old and still give very nice shave. Splashed that awesome Bay Rum and didn't get much of a burn. Moisturized my face with Nivea to keep my skin looking good. Tomorrow will be a no shave day! Have a nice evening gents! 20200413_184335.jpg 20200413_184335.jpg

Cool, I’m going on a drive with one of my buddies in the local Triumph club. Here’s a shot of his car:
