  1. Thanks Tim. I would classify Mike's as an "upper-range" product, with a "low-to-mid-range" price tag.
  2. Magazine-worthy photo, James.
  3. Thank you, Clint. Their scents have a symbiotic relationship.
  4. Beautiful razor, Joe. Did you put the original edge on it? (and, no, I don't mean 100 years ago...) ;)
  5. :signs011: or ANY blades, for that matter. Worst being, in case anyone is interested: PERMA SHARP.

  6. Historically, social distancing meant you could pee in the yard and nobody knew.
  7. Beautiful shave, as usual, Jim!

  9. There are those north of the 49th that are grateful to hear that Arko is in Ohio. @jtspartan

  12. Yesterday while my grandson was doing school work, you could hear someone practicing their shooting skills.
That happens quite often, no problems.
The UPS guy that moved from a city route to our rural route commented on it one day to me.
While delivering my package, hearing the rounds from a distance, he said, "do you get that a lot out here??".
I said " a lot of what?" Not considering the circumstance.
"The gun shots?", he ask. "Oh that, no worries, it's common" I said.
It's very common for people to wear their side arm while working outside here.
Venomus snakes, wild dogs, rabbid raccoons and then like are sometimes an issue.
One place where I stop to get milk and bread, the owner is armed, along with his employees.
We have almost no problem with crime, actually no crime at all.

Pee out the back door and no one would know, or care to know.

  13. Gary (@brit ), I'm going to take things a bit further. I'm going to do a razor and blade combo focus. Not quite a rule, though... I'm going to use my EFBT (my first vintage razor purchase) loaded with Astra SP blades (my first ever 100 order). My soap will be TOBS and after shave will be Proraso Green Balm, until my Maca Root stuff arrives!

I'm going to prove to myself that my original gear was good enough in the first place!:angry032:
  14. Good morning all!
Went with my Razororock Blackhawk V1 along with a new Feather Super Pro blade.
    A synthetic brush.
Chilling out on a Tuesday morning.

2 passes head and face, no issues.
Oh so smooth and clean, ready for the day.

  15. Very nice setup, Terry. I got some margaritas in the arctic waiting for warmer days!

I had a great two pass shave this morning. Alum was silent and gave no feedback, I also accidentally dropped it on the floor and broke a hunk from the edge :( Still serviceable though. The Astra SS blade is going strong after 3 shaves, no tugging yet.
    Have a great day everyone!
  19. Great shave and picture, Dan!
Too bad about the broken alum. I'm on my second. The first shattered when I dropped it.
