Yes um// was working good last night... took me a nap then when i got back up awhile ago it was not working very well at all.

everything else here seems to be working fine.

I have been having youtube problems like that for a month or more. But that is more to deal with the ISP restricting DSL service more than anything else.

Sorry to heat that... not a good start to the day.. I am doing well.. about nap time for me. Off work again tonight then start my long weekend working.

Found out yesterday that the land lady is going to continue to rent the house.. she had been making noise that she may sell ... so will not have to move in OCT.. just rent going up about 45 or so,,, That is not that bad at all and means that we will not have to move after all..

 

WTH does that mean? How did I think one thing and type something totally different. Touché XKCD, touché.

Its good to hear that you won't have to move. I hate moving. I guess that is part of the reason I have been in the same apartment for 9 years.

Oh well, I suppose I ought to finished getting ready for work and take the dog out (no walk today - I just can't with the way I feel).

A little part of me is dying inside. I really thought a narwhal enjoying 2 boobies and some bacon would be just the sort of thing to capture reddit's attention. Apparently, I suck at gaming the system.

 

We are, after all, the sort who have Razor Kozies...

On an unrelated note, anyone else here read "Esquire" magazine? The latest issue (matt damon on the cover) has a couple of pieces in it about shaving. In one, the guy talks about using Kheil's and a mach 3 (shudder) and in the other, they endorse an Art Of Shaving branded Fusion for $150! I'm thinking we should send the editors a note telling them about the finer points of shaving with vintage (or vintage style) razors.

 

I'm having a better day than yesterday, but it's still early yet.

 

hey guys. A friend of mine passed away this morning. He's a priest in the Episcopal Diocese of Louisiana who's served for the past 50 years in the cenla (central louisiana) region of the state. His death was expected, in that his health has been declining for some time, but it was also quite abrupt, in that he's held on for quite some time and appeared to be improving over this past week.

If you're the praying kind of person, then please pray for his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed.

 

My condolences. Saying a prayer right now.

Well, things aren't looking much better as the day goes on. My wife's asthma has gotten bad enough she ended up having to leave work. She was able to get an appointment to see a doctor this afternoon, so hopefully, she can get something that will help.

I am feeling better overall. My stomach has settled and my headache is gone. However, my extensor-tendonitis has flared up. I guess I shouldn't have been trying so often to get the Mitchell's to lather better. So... I guess I am going to lather/shave left handed for a while. Won't that be fun. Writing is painful, so I guess I won't be grading anything today and will just have to hope that it is better by tomorrow night.
