Besides the easy morning commute the virus also eliminated the 4/15 tax rush. I always dreaded this day because of the stress and last minute drama. As if I didn't like 4/15 enough, my Dad passed on 4/15/2007. I have been able to push aside the memories of him sick and focus on the positive. Like Charlie's father, my Dad was a brick layer that knew all about hard work. I guess that's where my work ethic comes from. I still remember the day he put me on the bus for Ft Jackson and wished me well with a tear in his eye. I realized at that moment the Army was a serious commitment. So like he taught me, I pre-hyrdrated (aka, bloomed, drowned, baptized.....) the soap while I showered. The big Outlaw brush tore through the soap whipping up a mountain of rich slick lather. Dad would have approved of the modern barbershop scent. Three passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. A splash of the matching aftershave and a spritz of Guerlain Habit Rouge left me smooth and smelling great. I hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday.

Thanks for congratulating me on my Top Of The World shave yesterday! This morning's was a little off key, but still good enough. Returned with the Stoylin Ramblin Man set , with the Maggard Synthetic Marble Handle brush. Good preparation with the brush(15 seconds to soak it, 30 to load the RM soap). Solid "painting" action on the face and neck. I did get a tiny weeper along the left side of my lips-very tiny but enough to show that it happened. I added 1/2 a pass-it was necessary-, so that's 2 1/2 passes. Might have done A LITTLE better around the Adams Apple area, but I decided to leave it alone for fear of a bad cut. But I was pleased overall. Most Excellent.
