I wouldn't be motivated with those temperatures as well. I will not use Cryogen until it is at least upper 70's low 80's and I won't see that here until late May or June.

Well....great example of the scattered thoughts going on in my noggin. Monday I mentioned I'd be doing all tobacco vanilla blends this week.....and this morning screamed PAA's Future Fiction, an incredible citrusy musk w/pepper fragrance. Oops. It's a top 5 contender for the everyday aroma in my den. PAA's scent profile: Citrus (Lemon, Bergamot & Mandarin Orange), White Musk, Jamaican Ginger, White Pepper, Haitian Vetiver, Hiba Wood, Honey Amber, Black Sage, Peppermint, Jerusalem Pine.

3 pass DFS+. Wonderful CK-6 thick and creamy lather this morning from the Zenith boar. First pass WTG, remaining passes (all over) were XTG. Slight bit of irritation on the neck/jawline from the extra work, so I opted for Thayers Witch Hazel today. Instant soothing face feel, light and refreshing scent. Finished off with the matching AS/C. Shave was accompanied with my usual SSC (super strong coffee), and some jamming tunes from my favorite band, RUSH, Moving Pictures album.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Wednesday!

Next up in the neglected razor rotation is this Micromatic. I've been trying to work through some samples as well, and have only used this GBS once or twice. Whipped up a really nice lather today. I find Stirling is at its best when you start with a brush that is well shaken out and really get a pasty lather on the knot. Pleasant cologny aquatic scent, but my nose isn't sophisticated enough to really identify the individual notes.
Besides the fact that the blade seems like it is done, it was a pleasant 3 pass shave today. No red appeared, which isn't always the case with me and the MMOC. I'm smooth enough, but do need to change the blade.
    Have a great day all.

Terrific shave Jason! I agree that a pasty Stirling load on the brush to apply on the face and adding tiny amounts of water while lathering produces great results.
