Stunning line up today, Blair--literally everything is awesome! Got some great color matching, and you chose what is in my top 3 'most interested' PAA scents. I wonder if the label is a sci-fi nod to The Odyssey? The custom kami, btw, is incredible

Fantastic shave, Tom! You always seem to have me running to google--I don't recall ever seeing the w-11 before

 

Aaaand another razor I had to look up--really nice, Angelo! Black razors are the bees knees

Thank you Tim! This is another one of my 100 yr old vintage razors that I enjoy very much. I bought it because I like the inlay and of course the width of the blade. In my early straight shaving days, I saw Keith's penchant for wide blades and was encouraged to do the same. My Friodur was my first 7/8 blade and this one was my second.

 

If they came up with a scent called 'Late 70's Little League' (bubble gum, grape snow cone, Marlboro smoke, and the sweat of overly invested parents living through their children), I'd probably buy it--I shouldn't, but I probably would

 

Fantastic photo and report, Jeff--sorry the Stealth TAR didn't follow in its beefier big brother's footsteps. Still, tomorrow is another day. Also glad to hear the SS blackhawk got to make an appearance--seemed like a few people made that purchase, but I haven't got to see one featured just yet

• Razor: Max Headroom Focus R21 Shavette
• Blade: Personna Blue (3)--in my rush to shave and get to work today, I neglected to remember that this blade is on its 3rd shave. It performed well enough, but I won’t be trying for a 4th
• Brush: Stirling Finest Badger
• Soap: B&M Reserve Cool (2 Frost Drops)--killed the sample today!
• Menthol: Stirling Frost Drops
• AS: Aqua Velva Ice Blue (1 Frost Drop)
• Balm: Stirling Glacial Unscented

The Shave...
The plan was to go with a hybrid Cool/Iced Pineapple lather like I did a couple days ago, but as Robert Burns puts it… “The best laid schemes o’ Mice an’ Men gang aft agley.” Incredibly, that badger whipped up an overabundance of lather--The Iced Pineapple went back to the bullpen. The lather was slightly fluffier than I care for, but not a bad lather by any means.

2 quick passes and no repeat strokes without lather reapplied. That was the plan, and while I’m pretty sure I didn’t always stick to it, I stuck to it enough. Again, somewhere between DFS and CCS, and not an irritated nerve on my face--I’ll take it!
