    That is quite the trip!
The Simpson synthetic I ordered made it as far as Heathrow and that's where it has been sitting since April 3rd.

Thank you, James. I have to say, these razors look and perform way above their price point.

    Time is flying.....

    2 notable shaves this week

    First:
    20200417_150518.jpeg
Used primarily the Gillette Super Speed Flair Tip I won in the Raffle.

Man, I gotta say, I do love this DE. Almost makes me want to clear out the rest.

Used the Focus R21 Shavette for a winning final ATG pass on the lower neck, clean, right to skin level and irritation free.

    Secondly:
    20200417_124735-1.jpeg
Some stuff I had not used in a while.

Couldn't remember the last edge maintenance on the Barbers Bride, so I went for the 1/10 micron cubic boron nitride pasted nanocloth, blue denim, an roo. All magnetic mounts from CKTG. Shaved good.

I gotta stop using this brush on unobtainium soaps. I love the results, but it'll pound through the soap.

Start day work next week. Seems they want to take everyones temperature at entry. They did spot reads at workstations this week (I was 95 another guy was read at 85). Probably got their pyrometers 'on the cheap'.
Knee-jerk panic moves for an outfit that hasn't bothered in sensible hygienic practices for disease prevention.

    Anyhow folks... Shave on!

    Great looking setups, Bill!

We have been getting our temps checked for the last couple of weeks. A drive thru tent in the parking lot. Never thought to ask what my temperature was.

Thanks Gary. You too, my friend. It's Friday, here's a tune to get the weekend started. :D

The first time I played it for Kathy...she was impressed that I knew the lyrics. She just heard me playing it and told me to turn it off. :happy102:

I sometimes wonder if @Primotenore had a similar stage presence.

Thanks, Clint. I don't really understand the marketing decision that RR made with these two razors.

I'm hoping that's the case but the last update was arrived at Heathrow, never got a departure scan. Hopefully it was just a missed scan and it's sitting in US customs. My other Simpson orders were ten days or less. I'm sure the current state of the world hasn't helped matters. Fortunately I have a few other brushes.

Stirling SS and AS - Haverford
    Omega EVO
    Supply Co v2 (3)
    Schick Proline

    Early morning shave, late post.

Hadn't used the Supply Co razor in quite some time, wanted to give it a little love. Continuing on the tobacco vanilla kick this week, Stirling Haverford. Very nice tobacco vanilla fragrance, much like PAA's Cavendish, but just a touch more ginger and/or clove I think. The after shave is very long lasting for me, still catching whiffs of it 7 hours later......or maybe it's cause I over apply after shaves and colognes, as I'm almost always self imposed 'social distancing'.

Very nice Stirling lather from my favorite synthetic brush. Slick and thick, needs a bit longer whipping and extra hydration (in my world) to reach peaky luscious yogurty goodness. Shaving with the Supply Co loaded with a Schick Proline blade, about as simple as it can get. The flat of the razor face almost dictates 'riding the cap', and a super sharp Proline just knocks any growth out of the way. But....too much pressure or miss the angle (as with any safety)....irritation city. WTG/XTG, then some very light neck buffing for a fantastic DFS+ shave this morning.

Hope everyone has what's left of a Fantastic Friday!
