I have seen one of the YouTubers use the Leaf razor. He headshaved with it and he really recommended it. It has the pivotal head and you have to load 3 1/2 DE blades so it acts and looks like a cartridge razor.

    April 18th
    SR Saturday

    Razor: Dovo Inox
Brush: Wild West Brushwork 30mm Tuxedo - Thanks again @clint64
    SS: Arko
    AS: Proraso Red

Another lovely shave with the Inox this morning. I still can't figure out how the shave stick is suppose to work with a pre-shave. I Also haven't noticed a huge difference skipping the that step. I usually use the Preshave to keep my face moist while I prepare my lather.

Anyway, the Arko performed well enough so I will keep using it through April. Nice 3 pass shave with no nicks this morning.

Friday was Fat Friday again with and Astra SS. The Fatboy works great for me.

Thursday I used my slim. I had both my Fatboy and Slim revamped by Razor Emporium. Both have minor issues which bug me. The slim's blade gap is different between the two sides and has some slight burning in the Rhodium plating. The shave was okay but the difference in blade gap makes it difficult to get consistent results.

Joe, I owned it, but sold it. It kept gouging chunks out of my scalp. After three months of trials, I sold it.

Gary, was your French Tech manufactured in the UK. From my reading I was given to understand that the rounded bottom is an indication of UK manufacture. Lovely shave!

I haven't gotten a speeding ticket in 40 yrs. My ticket was for disobeying a sign and it wasn't a stop sign. Cost me 225 dollars. I could have fought it, but I didn't want to spend all day waiting to see a public defender and then go before the judge to plea for a lower amount. My time is more valuable and I had other things that were on my list to accomplish that day.

Hope everyone is staying safe and healthy. Working from home is starting to feel routine but cabine fever is setting in for sure. Utah's numbers are excellent beating the national average for low hospitalization and death rates. Utah never had a full shelter-in-place order but closed schools, restaurants, gyms, parks, and most other gathering places. In the next couple weeks businesses will slowly reopen with a huge push for wearing masks. I have high hopes.

    Nice shaves Evan!
I have never used shave sticks so take what I say with a grain of salt. I have never seen anyone on YouTube use a preshave before applying a stick. They just wet the face and apply the stick like you would an alum block, then lather.

Never race the "Show Piece", I don't care what it'll do or just how good you are.

    Great pictures, Evan!
The way I normally use my pre-shave soap is to wash, rinse then reapply. When using a shave stick I don't reapply.
    Thank you, Gary!
