    hey everyone.

Wife might have slept through the night, but is still feeling terrible. Daughter got kicked out of special olympics due to her tantrum Saturday.

But, when picking something up for wife I found a Burma shave brush at a grocery store. I know their cheap boars, but I have never seen one other than online. It may be cheap... but it just whipped up some good Mitchell's Woolfat lather in very little time. Woo Hoo!

    Evening :)

Way too happy to be at work.

Sorry to hear that about your wife and daughter Justin.

We have several of the Burma Shave brushes here, I like to use one from time to time, they work just fine.

Ours came as part of a Burma Shave Set, but the brushes we received all looked like the classic Ever Ready brush.

Your second link (the stand a-lone brush) is the one I got from the grocery store. It was 5.95. They also had Williams. Now, they have never had those before and I was tempted to get the Williams as well, although it always burns up my face and I toss it out.

13,600 steps today (8 miles total) according to the school's wellness program pedometer. I am not sure I believe it. I know I walked 6 miles on my walks combined. But I find it hard that between my normal pacing while lecturing (yes, I am one of those teachers that wanders all over the room) and the grocery store that I walked another 2 miles. No wonder I gain weight over the summer.

    How's that work?
When my ex and I owned our restaurant, I always thought about buying a pedometer to see how much I walked during work. I hustled, too. For some crazy reason I miss it sometimes.

Today was not half bad. The real fun starts tomorrow. It's the first round of exams for the semester.

Yep. About 3 years. Sold it a little while after Jenna was diagnosed.

    Hey Bill (and all),

She's doing better and worse today. Pain and bruises are setting in, but her head is starting to clear (just in time to enjoy the pain :sad029)

I'm still practicing showing gratitude everywhere I can.

    How's Bill?

Sorry to hear that but with the scary sounding fall, it could have been much worse as you've said, hope she has a speedy recovery.

    I'm getting by....

That beats the alternatives, but still doesn't sound so good. Is the back any better today?

A little, but it likes to remind who's boss as often as it can, couple that with some other things that happened, and I sure could use a vacation. :)
