At 80 on the beltway I’m getting passed about as much as I pass others.

I actually shaved my head with a Leaf last night. Well I did my first pass with a Senator and a second XTG pass with the Leaf. Actually I liked it for my head shave.

This was only my 3rd head shave. I used a NEW LC the first time. Had difficulty maintaining the angle on the back of my head left plenty of stubble. Good enough for a 1st ever head shave.

For my second head shave I used the ShakeSharp @jgreenepa gifted me. That was a unique experience. I was very impressed with its efficiency on the first pass. Almost as close as where I stopped with the NEW. Again I had slight angle issues on the back of my head.

The leaf gave the closest shave of the 3 as it manages the angle for you. I used a leaf on my face months ago but found it a little too irritating on the more sensitive skin on my face and neck. I will probably continue to use other razors on my first pass and clean up with the Leaf until I get the angle down.

My daughter uses a Leaf on her legs. She loves it, but she never really gave true DE razors a fair shake. My other daughter, who's old enough to shave, uses a Baili BT179 and also loves it.

I have gotten a warning one the motorcycle. Took of my helmet and the gray hair did the trick. Most of the time I get the ticket.

    Nice, Angelo!
    Great picture, Joseph!
I agree, the scent off the soap is pretty light. I thought you were getting the aftershave too. The scent is more pronounced with it although short lived.

Bill, my father took me out for a drink the day before my Batchelor Party back in 1972. When he passed in 2013, he’d been married for 67 yrs. He put it very simply when he said, “son, it’s a really simple choice; you can be right, or you can be married!” Over the years, it seems that most of my friends who divorced chose to be right!

Our numbers are pretty high. The real driver were the nursing homes in a couple of cities. The virus got into the facilities before the shutdown and turned into a serial killer. We are supposed to hit our peak in a couple of weeks. Maybe then things will slowly start to reopen. Driving by the parks and bike paths many are not obeying the rules anyway. I’m afraid we will get some serious Darwin awards when things start reopening.

Beautiful image, Maestro! I also had a Feather Tech shave this morning. You’re right, the second shave is always smoother. In fact, according to Refined Shaving’s razor blade tests, the second shave with a Feather is roughly equivalent to the first with a Nacet! Nacets are nice blades.

I've done that on occasion, but not in the act of actual shaving. For instance, I'll get it into position, then suddenly the thing flips out of my hand.

My issue, Joe, is that I never shaved with cartridge razors historically . The only cartridge razor I’ve used is the Omnishaver a few months ago for my dome, which ended up giving me ingrown hairs on the back of my neck! I guess I just never learned the technique, nor do I care to. It seems contrary to every shaving instinct I’ve developed over the last 55 yrs or so.

A couple good mail calls this week. Going to have to reproduce Keith's @Keithmax shave as a part of Mayhem. I have lots of steel here but I don't have much experience with steel so there will be some loss due to the learning curve. I may have to build my own forge for tempering the blade. Should be fun.

Oh, and the TABAC is on order but won't be here for weeks.

Well, that might get me into the "Too Much Of Anything Is Bad" category. Yes, even Clubman. . Is Massachusetts north of the 49th?

Nice shave Jeff. I wad surprised by the Fat Handle Tech. It was sold as a budget razor but shaves gives a great shave.

Love the crystal skull. I'm sure Kensurfs would be proud. :)

Ummm... I didn't think you could be on 30DC without some MWF. Drop the slightest hint that you don't have any and a puck magically materializes in your mailbox. Am I right @Hembree? ;)
