Great job Tim! My straight razor shaves only take a couple extra minutes over my safety razor shaves, but it was just in September that I realized I needed to slow down.

I wish I had counted my straight shaves. I'm pretty sure I am close to 100 by now because I used straights exclusively for several months, but I didn't even know counting was a thing.

I'm glad you are enjoying this. We need to get your straight honed so you can have that amazing experience too. Do you have a strop?

Great shave Maestro! It's strange tthat they add an abundance of menthol to open up the sinuses in their Cryogen soap, but they are not as generous with their other scents.

Technically, the 49th parallel is only the border from the Pacific Ocean (southern tip of Vancouver Island is below the 49th) to the Ontario border. The border dips south thru the Great Lakes and then much of the Canadian maritimes is below the 49th. No part of New England is above the 49th, I don’t believe. There is even a peninsula in Washington state (Point Roberts) that you can only get to from BC.

 

Seems to be a lot of that happening. I wonder what's going on?

 

I think we've created an escalation issue. I mean, where do we go from here? The bar is set unachievablely high. No one will ever get a CT again.

It's in rotation for sure. I have so little hair normally, but I still notice how much cooler I feel. Probably shave in the summer and clip in the winter... we'll see.
