Thank you Gary..it operates & shaves every bit as well as my standard HD rocket..just feels a bit odd due to the lightweight.

Happy Saturday all! Today’s shave I wanted to be a little special because you really have to enjoy what you have while you have it because tomorrow we really don’t know what’s coming. Gillette Delta Echo Slim - Cubano Edition is a thing of beauty and a fitting update to a vintage 1964 razor. I also have a stock 64 which is just as good a shaver but this guy is really Guapo!

Decided to crack open a new pack of Super Blue Blades today. I am lucky to have three of these NOS packs still wrapped so I figured I would try them out. Well wouldn’t you know the razor is a J3 and the blades a J4! Now that is pretty awesome fortune in my book!

Soap of the the day was the mighty Tabac with the matching splash. There are those who love it and those who don’t I live in the first camp. Great soap and scent for me.

Three pass BBS shave achieved. Now there was a little more work involved but the blades being almost 56 years old held up admirably. They aren’t Kai sharp but they held their own and really it was just cool from a vintage perspective to use them! Added a squirt of Guerlain Oud Essentiel and wow! Pretty wonderful Saturday shave indeed.
