I was once caught in a speed trap. There was no sign posted of a speed change . Apparently it fell down. The officer said' you're driving a new truck, you can afford the ticket' . I blasted him for his u turn in front of a semi to chase me down. The uniform must change something in the brain when they put it on is my best guess. Invincible comes to mind.

So I scored big time at the antique shop by my house. I got a really nice slim Adjustable with a really good looking gold finish, a couple Gillette blade banks I needed, a vintage unused Williams's shave puck in the box,a beautiful barely used leather strop and my very first brand new cutthroat razor!!!!! Pictures to come....

Charlie's @wristwatchb isn't a chronograph guy. He's partial to automatics with an emphasis on automatic divers. My general impression of Charlie's enabling is, if it makes you happy, great. If it's a watch and makes you happy, even better. If its an automatic seiko diver, words can't discribe his joy.

I actually joined Watch Gang figuring I'd take their 50% off first watch and cancel. The 1st one showed up and my son fell in love with it so I gave it to him, but I was impressed enough to let it ride. This is the second watch and I really like it. It's not a high end timepiece but I think it looks nice. Now I'm thinking I will keep going until they fail to impress.

My son hinted very very strongly that I should give him this one too. The boy likes shiny things.

Thank you Patrick. In my experience there are 2 types of people that put on a uniform, those that put on the uniform because of a sense of duty and those that needed the uniform to get respect and power they couldn’t get on their own.

Stirling for Him SS and AS - the limited release of the Stirling interpretation of Versace pour homme went right to the top of the Max Headroom List of Most Glorious Stanks for me.

Simpson Emperor 2 - while all my brushes manage to bring suds to my face, I wish they all felt like this one. In my book, the Simpson Super Badger is second to none.

The Focus R48 Dynamic 1/2 DE Single Edge Razor. While this tool requires the proper application of pressure and violates the good shaving techniques needed for most gear, it has the capability to deliver cottonball smooth irritation free low risk shaves. To get the most, use a Feather blade, figure out how to make sure it is loaded properly, push in the top plane so the pivot mechanism engages the cap and guard for skin contact on your strokes, thin out the lather and shave to your hearts desire.

This tool gave me a number of things in my shave journey. 1) It showed me the result to target for. 2) It showed me the growth patterns and and ATG strokes that I need to make to deliver bullseye on target.

For sure, this tool has it's opponents. Most who never used it properly, and some not at all.

While I have been drawn more to a preference to open edge shaves, this tool always delivers a delightful result.
