Sometimes I think it is just more stupidity then anything else - lol. Too many razors that I can use effortlessly and get outstanding relaxing shaves, and I pick the trouble maker. Just kidding it is fun now and not as stressful once you get used to how to approach your face and hold the razor comfortably. My goal this week is to get more of a BBS without irritation. The problem is some strokes are easier then others and I tend to favor the easier ones.

Nice shave Tommy. I admire that H&S. It is on my radar. Just cutting spending during these times until things stabilize.

    Razor - Soviet Ideal
    Blade - [IMG]
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - The Canuck
    Post - Alum

It's starting to look and feel like Spring around here but we're still holding our breath. No reason to think STL is totally done with winter yet. Even if we had a tornado whip through that wouldn't guarantee anything. We'll get there.

Stayed with the Ideal razor and Voskhod tonight. Switched the brush to the Canuck. Great handle with the SynBad flat head knot. This thing makes lather like a machine. Arko is so easy anyway, and this brush just makes it child's play. Three passes and I got the angle down tonight to smooth things out. It's a bit tricky with this razor but it can be done. BBS is on board and the alum was a lot quieter tonight. We'll give it another go tomorrow to make sure it's tamed.

Hope you had a good Saturday. Here's to a Super Sunday!

Steve, the H&S is very well made. A piece of shaving jewelry. Pretty efficient - smoothness is average. Balance is great. I would only put a handful of razors ahead of her. I need to get used to her the next few days. I still like the Apollo, S1, and T95 better. But I haven't worked out with her enough. I would save for another S8!
