:) I appreciate that Tom, thanks.

Sometimes the best thing I can do is just fire up my Zune, turn off the lights, kick back in the recliner and close my eyes.

A Monday through Friday, 6am-3pm, small city downtown, serving the business folk, full service & take-out, breakfast & lunch, government wants all your money cause you're a small business cafe.

My husband did all the back of house stuff, and I handled the front, by ourselves. If I ever had glory days, those were it. Handling a full service lunch crowd of about 25 tables, taking phone orders, running food, flipping tables, running the register, and all with a smile.

I'm horribly judgmental of wait staff now. Especially when they have 4 or 5 tables and can't keep up. I don't blame them for the kitchen or management's mistakes, though. Luckily, someone else generally handles the tipping. Though I know 10% is at least required, otherwise the server is paying for part of your meal.

The best part is that she knows just when to pop in.. like she has a scanner on your computer or something..

I am sure that Fuzzy knows what he is talking about. He knows all about those secret ways of keeping an eye on people.

    How's everyone this morning?

Bill, sorry to hear work won the round. Hang in there! Relaxing in the recliner with lights off and music on.. I could go for some of that. Of course, I would fall asleep and wouldn't make it to work in time.

Tom, glad to hear the wife is recovering.

Well I guess it is that time. Off to walk and work....

oops, I messed up my sleep again, I woke up at 3 AM... oh well. Sorry I've been ignoring all of you, I'm just trying to keep up with my work and find time to do other stuff so I don't get burnt out. So far things are going alright...

random: I'm considering trying fountain pens because I've heard they are more comfortable and easier to write for long periods of time with, I know we have a few pen lovers on here but I forgot who... can anybody give me some advice? my main concern is that I'm a lefty and I don't want to end up smearing ink everywhere. I also want to know the main differences between a $15 pen and a $500 pen.

I'm actually not sure what the benefits to new or vintage are so I'm honestly not sure. What would you recommend for a newbie and why? At the moment and I am not looking to invest in fountain pens for their looks, I am simply trying to get something more comfortable and easy to use. Not that I'm opposed to a pretty pen but I'd rather not pay too much extra for looks, mechanical function is a different story though.

ooh nice, I'm really not sure what I'm going to have, probably waffles.
