Congrats on getting your razor! I also had been looking for one for a while & just had a pair arrive from Italy earlier this month. Great shaver with a Personna blade..have not tried a Proline B20 yet. Mine also seem to have a different spring than yours..:signs002:

Yeah the springs are a bit different. Does yours say made in Great Britain anywhere. I'm new to Injectomatics but I've heard the Us ones are slightly more aggressive.
I haven't tried the Personna blades yet but they are on my list when I have to order more blades.

Shave 2 with the Pal Injectomatic. I like this razor. I will have to do a side buy side shave with a few of my other injectors but I think this is more aggressive than most of my others.

Mine are stamped "MADE IN GT BRIT". I also have two smooth handle versions with the same spring style & markings. I've read others comment the British ones as being more aggressive than the US version, but I haven't noticed much difference. It seems there is also a third spring style for this razor...

Hard to say for sure. I've got 2 Gem Jr. Bars and they seem to shave different from each other. Of course they are around 113 years old.
I guess I'll have to get three of each version of every razor ever made and start doing comparison shaves. Excluding cartridge razors. I don't believe I will ever use another cartridge razor. It's bean about 15 years or so since I rid my household of them. I did use a single blade disposable bic once when I was in a hospital for 9 days though. And that was better than a cartridge.

Wanted a relaxed Shave today, so the Hiram was a good choice. The Shave was smooth and comfortable , probably the best to date, as I finally got it
right when working the jawline and neck. The finish was so good that I should have been going somewhere special, but due to virus stuck at Home.

    Hi,
In some circles the Injectomatic has been called a "Schick Buster", as it shaves better than most Schick Razors confined to the use of a single blade.
You can use the type B Schick Proline in it.

    Jaguar Prestige A/S Lotion

When I first used this Razor I had a few mishaps loading the blade , and then getting it misaligned after rinsing. I also found it difficult to get the angle of attack right. Slowly things have got better, though I found that using a guarded blade the Shaves seemed rather lengthy. Today, I took the plunge and used a Feather Pro for the first time. Lots more blade feel and very effective so that Shavetime reduced, and the overall quality of finish very good, even around the neck. I think this could prove popular with those who like lighter Razors and want to try a S/S AC Razor, though the new Hawk seems a great contender from what I have read.

The Barbearia Ribeira do Porto Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #397 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

You know those have peeked my interest slightly. Partly because of the way they look partly because My last name is Wilkins so the Wilkinson name has always appealed to me. I guess someday I could potentially try that ONE maybe. I have no idea what they go for though.

Thank you for confirming the B20. I have used them in injectors but they can be a bit sketchy on alignment in some. I really like the B20s in the Enders speed.

Sunday Schick shave, Once a week at least I like to get one of my Schick injector razors out of the racks for this tradition and today is no different than with my Schick Adjustable injector model 3(M3). This razor is a marvel to shave with and results are stellar like usual.

Razor: Schick adjustable injector M3- MFG 1970-72 -Great razor to zero in on your type of shave- setting 3!
Blade : Personna injector SS PTFE (9) great blade, very sharp and keeps a edge while sitting idle over time IMO.
Soap: Razorock Lavender- I just enjoy using this soap because it has great lather qualities and scent.
Brush : Razorock Plissoft 24mm synthetic.Great brush I have used for the last 3 years.
Pre-shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post : Razorock King Louis Lavender aftershave with witch hazel + Nivea men balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 small blemish weeper = [IMG] excellent very close shave, it does not get better for myself.

Saturday and Sunday revisiting an old friend, the Gem 1912. With a Personna PTFE stainless blade it delivers a really great, smooth shave.

Tried a a sharper blade than the Schick same steep shave angle as the previous shave. Same end result but a sharper blade feel during the shave. Next shave I will try skin stretching see if that improves the shave.
