The least loved GEM razor, the Contour. Why? I really don’t know but, it gives me an amazingly smooth, efficient and mild feel on the face shave that no other GEM styled razor can match. Go figure. A great Sunday and shaves to all....

The Barbearia Ribeira do Porto Shave Cream face-lathered well with Jayaruh #397 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Ever-Ready Lather Catcher with a Vintage Gem Cutlery SE blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with PSC Caffeinated After Shave Balm. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

    Sunday morning:

    Razorock Plissoft 26mm Monster
    Super Speed/Derby day 2
    Vitos SS
    Nivea Cool Kick ASB
    Aqua Velva Musk AS Splash

Thanks to some inspiration I enjoyed the Vitos soap so much - its scent is cherry almond and so nice in a classy old school European way, the lather is so rich, it’s very slick, and it’s really skin friendly. The Nivea Cool Kick balm delivered great moisturizing with a pleasant cooling sensation, and the Aqua Velva Musk aftershave smells nice - not too strong, just right. I love my 1950s Super Speed so much - it gave me a brilliant BBS shave!

Stay healthy and safe and enjoy your Sunday!

    2020-04-19, Sunday

A tasty April Sunday spoiled by necessity!
I have no farming skills and had to have my garden milled.

Garden...: an overstatement for a handkerchief of land where I raise few things which I want well spaced out.

And it was necessary to use a motorhoe which, however, beyond an obvious reluctance to let it get across the party hall, the main dining room and the atrium, presents a dimensional problem: it passes in the narrowest points with a light of an inch!

So, for 8 minutes of tillage, it was necessary to intervene with a tractor, splendid orange spot in the well-known Po Valley green.

    Ridiculous?
    I agree.
Ridiculousness, to me, contained by its cost...

I pitifully overlook the discussions I had with the Moroccan factotum for whom accepting desires other than his own beliefs is much more difficult than it would be to spit in the Ka'ba while eating a ham sandwich, while drinking grappa.
    I'm exhausted!

    Exhausted, but smooth!

The eau de Cologne, which I completed the pogonotomic ritual with, has a perfect olfactory continuity with Anglolatherer.

I omit pleonastic considerations on the result of shaving having exhausted the self-granted space indulging in descriptions of agrarian problems.

The most pessimistic people will think that the curious inclination that appears in the photo is due to the recent earthquake: nothing could be more wrong!
It is an artistic special effect due to my photographic genius!

Sunday Schick shave, Once a week at least I like to get one of my Schick injector razors out of the racks for this tradition and today is no different than with my Schick Adjustable injector model 3(M3). This razor is a marvel to shave with and results are stellar like usual.

Razor: Schick adjustable injector M3- MFG 1970-72 -Great razor to zero in on your type of shave- setting 3!
Blade : Personna injector SS PTFE (9) great blade, very sharp and keeps a edge while sitting idle over time IMO.
Soap: Razorock Lavender- I just enjoy using this soap because it has great lather qualities and scent.
Brush : Razorock Plissoft 24mm synthetic.Great brush I have used for the last 3 years.
Pre-shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap + a dollop of clear aloe Vera gel on beard area.
Prep: Cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post : Razorock King Louis Lavender aftershave with witch hazel + Nivea men balm.
Results: CCS,DFS,BBS + no irritation + 1 small blemish weeper = [IMG] excellent very close shave, it does not get better for myself.

    Have some great shaves!
