    Terrific shave Jeff! I haven't thought about Stella D'Oro (Gold Star) Anisette Toast Cookies in a long time. I loved dunking them in my tea or coffee.

    Great shave Bill! I like it when someone gets a nice shave from a vintage razor that was very inexpensive. It's great to own a custom or top drawer straight razor, but I like to find good quality vintage straights that are shave ready. My 5/8 Wostenholm Pipe and my 2 C-Mon straight razors were under 30 dollars and they give great shaves.

    Brings back many happy memories! My grandmother used to talk about Naples, and the fact that nobody knew how to make Neapolitan pizza like she remembered from her youth. She made homemade anisette cookies! I’ve never had any like them since. Stay safe and healthy, my friend!

    Thanks, Gary, sorry to drop out of the Tech shave, but that Karve was calling to me. It’s the perfect shaver for me now! Love the new wide body cap!

    I post there now and then! It’s owned by Bullgoose Shaving. Just make sure you don’t badmouth any of the brands that proprietor sells, or you’ll find yourself banned. Nowhere near as friendly a place as TSD.

    Great kit, as usual, Clint! Love that brush handle, but would never pay Brad Sears prices. Glad you had such a good shave! I did as well.
