  1. I shaved with one of my Techs yesterday, James. Meh! I remembered now why I preferred my Star DE, a Tech competitor that delivers a much closer shave. My shave today with the Karve just reinforced my love for heavy blade holders! You’ll have a good shave with your Micromatic. I have several, all much better shavers than the Tech for me. YMMV
  2. Thanks, Joe!
I'm a firm believer in TTT. I add razors to the collection because I enjoy collecting them.

  11. Thank you Joe. The brush makes me think of the hard candy sticks from the drug store.

  12. Bought this one used off The Nook BST at a fantastic price. It has a Simpson CH2 Synthetic installed. I have bought a number of my brushes used.

  14. April 19th

    Razor: ONEBLADE Genesis
    Blade: Feather FHS (1)
    Brush: Aluminum #1
    SS: Palmolive Shave Stick
    AS: Stetson Cool Mist

I'd been wanting to try the OneBlade for a little while (strange I know, as so many on 30DC have little interest is unique razors and/or 100% self control). Well I took the plunge and I must say I really like it. It's not the most aggressive razor out there. In fact I had to work at it a little to get a close shave but I did get to a near BBS and the alum was nearly silent. Very stiff blade similar to the other SEs I have tried. The OneBlade Genesis is going to be a regular. Looking forward to SE September this year.

I used the Palmolive stick to continue the stick shave trend Jason @jtspartan observed a few days ago. I'm liking the convenience of the sticks.

  18. Great shave, Evan!
Congrats on the new razor! It took me about six or seven shaves with it to figure out what worked best for me.

  20. Thank you Gary. I’ve rested most all day. I meant to work but I think I needed to recoup today.
