    MONDAY'S SHAVE

    Perfumed by Frank Voelkl
    [IMG]

Razor - GEM 1912 Travel Model (Sold to me by Jovraljr.)
    Blade - GEM *6th Shave
Shave Brush - 22mm "Synthia" Chrome Synthetic Nylon
    Chrome Razor/Brush Stand

    Preshave Oil - Lather & Wood's "Unscented"
Shave Soap - Lucky Scruff "Black Tea" *melted in mug
Shave Mug - Wren Grey Mug
Aftershave - Thayer's Witch Hazel with added menthol & Bramble Berry's Bergamot Black Tea scented oil
Post-Shave Balm - Advanced Clinicals Anti-aging Hyaluronic Acid Cream
Deodorant - 1898 Bathery & Co. "Black Tea"
Fragrance - Le Labo "Thé Noir 29"

My neck is recovering from a bit of a rough shave today. I hope I'll be ready for this scheduled shave. It's a new setup around my Thé Noir 29 fragrance. Thé Noir 29 has a central fig smell supported by a black tea vibe. I decided to use the scent of black tea in the shaving/grooming gear to pair with it since all my attempts to pair a fig scent haven't blended right as expected. The black tea approach seems to work well, so this will be the permanent set.

**EDIT - Shave was better than expected. I went easy on the trouble areas and got a good shave. Still a little residual redness from yesterday but I navigated it like a pro. The shaving soap performed better than I expected with the pre-shave oil. Excellent all-around. The GEM razor has had its best shaves with the GEM blade on shaves 5 & 6. Zero issues and really comfortable. It could also be that I'm getting the hang of this razor.

I look a bit like Frank. (I don't do my hair "wavy" as he does, though).

Nice ranking Tommy. I do not have an Old Spice soap. Sounds like I need to pick up the Sterling. Dig the brush.

Thanks Steve! I invested some time and money on trying to find "the spice" like we all do on one thing over the other in shaving. I have one more stop [Gingers Garden]! Have a good Monday
