    Williams Mug Soap
    Jayaruh #340
    Russian SHaDE Razor
    Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade
    CWR
    Pinaud Vegetal AS

The Williams Mug Shave Soap face-lathered well with Jayaruh #340 brush. Two passes and touch ups with the Russian SHaDE Razor with a Gillette Silver Blue Half Blade gave me a close, comfortable shave. After a cold water rinse I finished off with Pinaud Vegetal AS. I am clean, smooth, and refreshed...

Good report. With all of that buffing, it sounds like that blade is shot.

The mid-week shave though now I don’t know if that applies anymore. I don’t know about you but this all seems to have blurred together into one bologna “Ground Hog Day”....the movie that is except without the funny bits.

Had the Merkur Progress out a little while back and reached for the Mergress today. This one came from the B&B Saint Sue Moore Auction. Beautiful razor for a worthy cause. Loaded up with a Gillette Nacet.

Soap of the day RazoRock American Barber. This one was my first “barber shop” scent and I really like it quite a bit. Great scent and a great soap. The matching AS is quite nice also and the scent strength is on the stronger side of things. Love that.

Lovely three pass BBS shave achieved. New day indeed. Topped it off with Guerlain L’Homme Ideal. Take care and safe travels.

I've had some fantastic shaves over the last week, this Jagen David E01 pairs beautifully with derby extra blades as well as arko which i have gone back to after using Godrej lime for a month or so.

It still blows my mind how long arko lasts, this stick has lasted over a year now with an average of two uses a week, and even though i have tons of higher end soaps, i still find myself reaching for the arko more than any other soap.

Its combination of fantastic lather and world class slickness make it absolutely unbeatable performance wise regardless of the scent which i have learned to love.

    Shave 1:
    Razor: Jagen David E01
    Blade: Derby extra (4)
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Aftershave: brut by Fabergé.

    Shave 2:
    Razor: Jagen David E01
    Blade: Derby extra (5)
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Aftershave: arko ice mint

    Shave 3:
    Razor: Jagen David E01
    Blade: Derby extra (6)
    Brush: Omega 49
    Soap: Arko shave stick
    Aftershave: Ego Bahama mist[IMG][IMG][IMG]

Optimal shave today with the rich lather of the Milksteak base. The splash is cold and smells great.

Great choices, Steve....I'll have to look at Manners again. As you know, I feel SOMEWHAT better that "New Spice" got rid of their silly "Smellmitment" theme, replacing it with "Smell Like A Man".
