SOTD, Wed April 22 2020- Always like the look of this manly robust razor and it can deliver great shaves with proper technique like any razor. It will bite at times if you get to care free.

Razor: Everready Streamline, 2nd Generation -MFG Great Britain 1949-53 One of the more aggressive A.S.R razors IMO.
Blade: GEM Personna SS PTFE (7) great all around blade.
Soap: Razorock Santa Maria del Foire"Firenze" - great soap scent with great lather qualities.
Brush: Yaqi Rainbow brown whiskers 26 mm- very enjoyable brush to use.
Pre Shave: Brush wash my whole face with CeraVe hand bar soap+ a dollop of clear Aloe Vera gel on the beard area.
Prep: cold water rinse after each pass of 3.
Post shave: AVON "True gent" cologne with witch Hazel + a dollop of Avon True Gent balm,- I like the balm & shower soap scent.
Results : CCS,DFS,BBS + minimal irritation + 2 tiny blemish weepers = great shave this morning!

Last unused day of the set - Wednesday. Probably the best shave with these smaller razors so far - very close and efficient. The difference is not so much the blade as the technique adjustment. The smaller blades seem to want slightly faster, lighter, and shorter strokes. At least, that is what is working for me.

PREP: Cold water rinse
BRUSH; MrEE Metal Handled Hybrid Badger/Boar Knot
CREAM/GEL: Feather/Kapo Combo
POSTSHAVE: Cold water wash with Glyce Glycerin soap followed by Thayers Lavender WH and Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite AS Splash. Finished with A&E Post-Shave Serum

 

I believe it is so.

It's odd. For me the #1 indicator was tugging then weepers, but it kept going strong for 2 weeks which for my 6 on any blade was a strech.

I thought this was my triumphantly entrance into the Excalibur club.....

*chief ingredients are leather, West Indies bay rum, and gunpowder-all of which have been around a loooong time

**remember my sneaky Clubman thinking relative to any other Clubman than the original-the Special Reserve most probably wasn't begun in 1830, but that was the year Pinaud got to work. The rest is history.
