  1. I am counting the days before I can use Cryogen.

  2. Thank you Joe....Kokum butter is the star "attraction" for this soap....gives your razor that "sliding, slippery" feeling ( not that other butters don't of course).

  3. Y'know, Jeff of Montreal(Israeli Ambassor to TSD)raved about Cyrogen when I first signed on here..said there was nothing colder.....then about a year later tried the Stoylin glacials and changed his mind.

  4. Wait, you guys should try Fine Accoutrements Snake Bite Soap. With 3 drops of M-Bomb added, there’s nothing on the planet colder. I’ve tried all the Glacials at Stirling. Lemon Chill is their coldest! Snake Bite is colder!

  5. Joe, why wait! Menthol soaps are a year round experience for us, the mentholated ones! :Animatedfrozensmily:

  8. Thanks, Jim! Sounds like a good plan! I’ll be following your reports! As you know, I'm a somewhat recent Feather Super convert. I always used Prolines, which are great blades. I just think the Supers outperform them.

  17. Oh ok, thanks. That's an issue I'm dealing with these days too, but I'm better now with it than before.

  20. Thank you Joe. It is certainly different strokes for different folks. I started my wet shaving with a DE using TOBS Sandalwood cream and Stirling Sandalwood. I bought into the fan boy status of the soap here on TSD and ordered 4-5 soaps. OMG the scents were horrible. I tried to use them but ended up just throwing them away in disgust. So, I avoided the soap for the next 4 or 5 years. Perry mailed me a Stirling Bay Rum soap which was a pretty decent bay rum. Not B&M or Mike's bay rum but good. I decided to get the limited R4L release from Stirling to support first responders. This was by far one of the best scents I have used from anyone. When I got the package I expected the Hipster to be another scent I hated. The fact that it actually smells could enough to use was a very pleasant surprise. In all honesty, there is only a slim chance I would buy Hipster or any other Stirling scent in the near future. In general I find Stirling makes and excellent soap base but they really need some help on the scent profiles. Again it is a YMMV thing and everyone should use something they like.
