Very nice pic, post and shave Jeff! Shavus interruptus is never a good thing, especially by man's best friend of the four-legged species. Your JR #372 boar is a wonderful sight to behold! Have a great afternoon!

Thanks, Clint. I'll tell her you said so. It was touch and go for awhile. I thought we were going to end up buzzing it all off.

You have a while before you need to worry about honing. Stropping isn't hard. You need to take it slow and be careful not to lift the spine off the strop when you flip the razor back and forth. Also, the edge needs to be flush with the strop at all times except when you flip the razor to finish a lap. Also, no pressure on the razor is essential.

Maya and I have spent the morning trimming and weeding the islands. I sprayed weed killer so we can get some pine straw next week before the HOA sends me a nasty note. @MrEE inspired me to pull out my OneBlade Genesis V2 for a run this week. I reached in the back of the cabinet and pulled out the Stuga Sandalwood Silvertip brush. My wife brought the brush and some soap back from Australia as a gift. The brush is really soft with medium backbone serving for a change of pace to what I normal prefer. Two passes and touch ups caught the baby with ease. The Genesis works easier and better on my neck than anything I have tried. A splash of Fine Italian Citrus and I done for the day. I hope everyone has a fantastic Saturday.

Thanks Jason! I really enjoy the brush. It has nice backbone and lathers beautifully. If I had to say one negative thing about it, then I would say it is a lather hog. However, I am fine with it because I really load the brush with plenty of soap.

Thanks Gary. I see you've been busy. Always enjoy your consistent posts
Nice shave as always. Wow that is a brush! I've been wanting to make a 30mm silvertip badger brush. However, that will likely stay in my collection.

    Very nice watch as well!

Nice shave Neal. Slim on 9... no holding back! Awesome
    Nice James!
Love the shave Clint. I liked Hipster as well, but I think I like stronger scents... Beautiful photo!

Very nice Jim. I've been out of touch a little lately. Is there a Hawk V3 challenge going on?
Yep, the Fine Marvel has been on my to buy list too... but I admit that's a long list. Glad the blood loss wasn't too bad and the shave was good.
    Perfect April shave Tom.
Lots of techs on here today as well. If only I could keep up with all the cool stuff going on here.
I need a label maker. :) Killing soap is hard. Hoping for your success.

    Very nice shave Joseph!
Very nice Jason! Deep Blue Sea was the first Stirling soap I ordered... It's nice, but I admit there are so many favorites. Perhaps I'll use it tomorrow... but that slot has already been taken by Arko.
Keep up the good work! BBS for the win!
Another Hawk V3. See I'm sure I missed a memo. That's what I get for falling behind... Getting people back with this post.
    Very Nice Joe!
When's the watch due to arrive, Jason? :) I think Arko and TABAC are on the menu tomorrow. If only we could actually post scents. :) I always love your enthusiasm, Jason!
I made it through "TLD" and gave up Tim! The pictures look nice though. Congrats on making it halfway! Looking forward to seeing you try a straight after the shavette.
Wait, isn't that the same SS and AS you used yesterday Joseph? ;)
Looks good Jim! This is the perfect time to try all kinds of new things! She did a good job.

Sorry for the extended catchup post. I missed a lot of updates, but I've never been able to keep up with this group. :) Thanks for putting up with me.

    timabababaluka No exceptions. Except.....

I haven't picked up a strop yet--some time over the summer I'll probably pick up one of the strops Slash McCoy has been making, some lapping paper and glass/marble tile for honing, and then figure out what all this CrOx mumbo jumbo is all about. First I gotta educate muhself--figure I've got about a month or two to figure things out ;)
