On average, how many guests are viewing the board?

I asked this earlier, but I'm not sure if you replied. What led to the TSD's inception? What is its "mission statement"?

As I recall (and I am not going to check spellings on these), Anaprox, Naproxen Sodium, Naproxen, Aleve are all different names for the same thing. Some are the chemical name, one is the official drug name, one is the generic name, and the other is the lower dosage over the counter name.

I have taken it occasionally, but never on a continual basis. Currently, I am taking borderline too many ibubrofen a day, so it is time to switch to a different NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) and may put aleve in the rotation again.

Any of these products can irritate your stomach. They should be taken with food and water unless specifically prescribed otherwise. Of course, I am the idiot who dry swallowed his pills yesterday and then had an upset stomach on the drive to work. Good thing there are a zillion places to pull over for water and/or cofffee.

if only... SS and I don't get along so well. I rebuilt this one a while back and due to OC week hadn't tested it until yesterday. Typical pathetic SS shave yesterday. Forgot to put another razor in the rack so when I stumbled out of the shower it was all that was waiting for me, so another pathetic shave.

When cleaning it up after the shave, the knob broke loose again, so I guess it needs some more work. I don't like to shave with the SS, but I like to take apart and mess with them. There isn't much to tinker with with an old 3 piece or GEM. I haven't pulled a MM apart yet. Although I think it might make all the chocolatiers cringe.

 

Justin you ever try Theragesic .. Paul Harvey advertised it for years.. it works for my arthritis and joint pain that comes from two elbow surgery's and a funky wrist.

No I haven't. I will keep that in mind next time I am looking. The only medication that ever stuck in my mind from the Paul Harvey ads were the Citrocal vitamins. But then again, I haven't listened for years as it is on the air here while I am already at work.

Hey, look at the time. I am running late. May have to cut walk short this morning. Maybe just 1 mile today.

 

I have looked at it a time or two. However, I felt like an old fart reading about a bunch of teenage angst. And I am not old enough to get grumpy old man syndrome. (my students would probably argue on that point).

 

I am plenty old enough for the grumpy old man syndrome... and enjoy it ...

I saw your XKCD link, which made me think of fmylife. Both were introduced to me by my eldest nephew.

 

Well... off to walk the dog, pack lunch, and warp young minds.

 

People sharing horrible things that happened in their lives. Part entertainment, part I now feel better about my life, part sociological window... something like that.
