Blanton’s and Makers are my preferred bourbons. My son like a lot of mid 40yr olds (Gen X?) likes Knob Creek and Elijah Craig, both a bit too raw for me! My son presented me with the bottle of Pappy following my 11 hr surgery in 2014; I’m still nursing it, although I think a lot of the hype is just marketing. I agree with you that Blanton’s is very close in taste profile.
thank you Clint, will have to got to a park for more interesting ones unfortunately, only so much greenery on the roof....
have you tried the santa maria del fiore? tuscan tobacco..worth getting a sample if possible..not trying to be a salesman of course....cheers..
That is quite right....although I'm a morning ANY SHAVE PRODUCYT man....except for when I returned from my hospital stay last July...it was 5 PM, but I showered and shaved. Then I did same the next morning, as I normally would.
Lovely photo and excellent report, Jim! That SS hawk really is a beautiful razor, and I'm glad to hear you're getting the angle dialed in. It's a shame it's not a little smoother (I like smooth shavers). Sandalwood and Fig Musk... it's one of those things that I would never in a million years have thought of, but the second I hear it think, "That sounds pretty awesome!"
Awesome photo and report, Clint! All that awesome metallic gear on the rock--looks like the photo could have been taken in the Mediterranean Hope your Tuesday continues to be a Tuesday, sir!
Fantastic shave and report, Paul! I'm one of those heathens who wears whatever I feel like, weather or season be darned, but I'm crazy like that--I remove tags from mattresses, eat waffles and bacon for dinner, and wear striped socks with a plaid shirt. I cannot... nay... will not be tamed
