Charlie, our SWMBOs do always seem interested in what we partake. I belong to a whiskey tasting club. If you’re interested in a lovely, smooth craft bourbon (although some might quibble with the name) out of Chicago (???) with a lovely fruity start and a vanilla peppery finish you might be interested in Kovel Bourbon. 51% corn mash with 49% millet, quite unique and very smooth. Kovel also makes a rye and a 4 grain whiskey. It was started by two former investment bankers. Haven’t had anything but the bourbon, but it’s quite good!
Welcome, Joe! I'm really glad you found your way here! This is a fun place to talk about what we all love, wet shaving! Great shave, I like Chatillon Lux a lot, and used to use it a fair bit in my first marriage. Unfortunately, SWMBO #2 has a fragrance allergy! There are a fair number of shavette and straight razor shavers here. @Trigger (another Joe)is one of the local Gurus of straights. I’m sure he’ll introduce himself, if he hasn’t already. Have fun! He’s a really good guy and experienced wet shaver. He is a big fan of straights! You guys have a lot in common! I met him in the FB shave communities, and told him about TSD. Glad he joined us!
You are right, Jason. I don't know that I have ever been this busy. I am not sure how my wife does it, but I think I am going to get called back in the office next week, so it should slow down. I hope everyone has been doing well.
