Misty sounds like a very special member of your family, Blair. I bet she's stolen your heart. She darn near stole mine just reading about her. :)

Thank you Gary! Hope you had a great morning and day!

Sincerely appreciated Jim! Hope your day went well!

Thank you Clint! Some mornings better than others for brain function at the keyboard....

Thanks Tim! Haven't tried the Stirling Varen. May have to do a sample, looks like it's available in shave soap and after shave.

    Thank you Joe!

    Sincerely appreciated Joseph!

Thanks Jeff! Everyone doing OK, a little cabin fever every now and then, but otherwise all good.

Always fun reading your posts Charlie! And you and your bride always in the thoughts & prayers. I completely agree about 2 pass shaves, no touch ups. With any of my DEs, SEs, or the Feather AC DX, it's usually done and done. Still working towards that with a few of my straights & kamisoris. DFS almost always at 2 passes, the lower right neck is the nemesis that keeps it from DFS+ / BBS. Funny, the larger straights and Kamis I have the best luck with, the lightweight ones not so much.

I’ll try to remember your name. Usually if I forget someone’s name on here or I just blatantly don’t know their name I’ll just say sir.

This more than TGIF, tomorrow is Buddha's birthday, a holiday in Korea, followed by Labor Day on Friday and next Tuesday is Children's Day. I will take Monday off and make this a week long holiday. Today will be a busy day at work as there is a lot to do before the long holiday.

Today's small brush is a Culmack 55 in best. I bought this brush NOS in the original packing. Of course I opened it upon arrival and used it. It is small so I usually used to clean my face at night. This brush has the finest knot of all my brushes, if it was bigger I would use for my shaves. At most I can get two passes out it without relathering and I am a four pass shaver.

Yesterday was a reminder how great the vintage Old Spice soap is show I wanted to do a comparison today against AoS tallow. AoS tallow is legendary for a reason and I can not forgive them for reformulating this soap. The AoS performed great but I have to give a slight edge to the vintage OS.

Keeping with my good mood I used my Saito SK-3 smiling razor. This is a small razor but one of my favorites. It is the only smiling razor I have with a full hollow grind, pretty cool. It also has a fantastic edge, but that is not by my hand but by Glen's @gssixgun . An excellent shave today, now to go to work and try and make some money.
