Thank you for the nice words, Gentlemen. Yes, Joseph, it isn’t bad for a replate.:)
It’s been a long day, but I hope to respond adequately to your own excellent posts shortly.

    Arko Adjustable April

    April 28
    Razor - 1960 (F4) Gillette Toggle (9)
    Blade - rapira-platinum-lux.jpg (1)
    Soap - Arko
    Brush - @Jayaruh #54
    Post - Alum

Well, boys and girls, we're down to the last three shaves of Arko Adjustable April. Clearly I'll be sticking with Arko for those three days. And which adjustable to use for the final days? Gotta be the Toggle. I discovered a loose Rapira Platinum Lux blade in my cabinet while getting the razor so decided that would work fine. For the brush tonight, it's the JR54. Great looking and great synthetic knot. Whipped Arko into a frenzied lather. Toggle on 9, of course, and the Rapira PL was as smooth as silk. Three great passes and the baby is in the house and the alum was quiet. Just a slight touch of the Veg again because my wife thinks it's sexy. Yep, she's got good taste. Both in after shaves AND in men. :happy036:

My other day off is tomorrow and I'm looking forward to it. This working a whole day in between days off....kind of wears you out fast! Have a great Wednesday!!

Interesting that the brush took that long to break in, Keith. Great description of the scent as well!
Glad to hear you’re getting the V3 figured out, Jim. Mine doesn’t look that nice!
The scent sounds wonderful, Clint. I’m like that with the Maximo Gomez I used today- the scent is worth any level of functional performance.
    Perfect? Fantastic, Joseph.
I enjoyed your Fougere rankings, Blair. If that Wholly Kaw scent is above SV for you, I need to run out and get some.
Lovely greens, Gary. Good evening, sir!

Welcome to the Crew! I’m a fellow CL fan as well...
The MonoBilt is on my Mt. Rushmore of vintages. Love it!
Glad to hear you may get back to the office soon, Jim!
    Have a great holiday, Keith!

Love reading about the Monobilt shaves, Jeff! Not a lot of them out there, so it's always a bit of a treat to see them featured here.

Beautiful photo and great report, sir :D

Good to hear from you, Jim. I had to take a week off as well--it's just been plain crazy. Fingers and toes crossed hoping things slow down for you. :)

I'm a menthol neophyte, so Frost Drops are probably more my speed for now. By the time I finish the 2nd half of the bottle, though... who knows?

Skin stretching has been crucial for me in this process--there are hollows along my neck and jaw that a shavette could never reach otherwise. It's also been a game changer for my DE shaves as well. :)
