Great automatic BBS with the Genesis, Clint. I’ve decided to order the Tradere with the SB plate. Believe it or not I have more OC razors than SB razor’s. I'm looking forward to the Tradere. That and the Wolfman should end my RAD! Hah!

I knew it, Jim! I bet the shave was smooth as well as close. I have some OC razors (like my LeCoq Cage Head) that many describe as an extremely “aggressive”, read “rough”. It took me some time to master it, but that technique has transferred over to most of my OC razors with the exception of the Spadson. That razor is in a category of its own, “assaultive”. But it is fun to shave with now and then.

 

Great anniversary shave, Dale. Of all the membership here, I respect your Gem expertise! You've figured out a lot about this traditional shaving practice, or what our younger members call “wet shaving”. I always enjoy your summaries. Thanks for sharing!

I think it can be set shallower, Blair. I think the loft can me maximized without being too floppy as it is quite a dense, sort of stiff knot.

 

I think I've got it figured out. I'll give it another go tomorrow then put it aside for May. Although I'm not sure what I'm going to do for the month.

 

That Semogue looks like it has been ridden hard, Tim. Sounds like you are really figuring out how you can avoid irritation as well.
