    Wonderful shave, photos and report, Jeff! You had a couple different LaResches if I recall correctly--was it the 51 that you liked best? I still need to look into Florida Water. You and Joseph have me convinced that iced Florida Water is something to put on the bucket list ;)

    Still praying for Sam, sir--the world needs more people like him.

    Hi Gary, and thanks. I usually get good shaves with goo, whether magnificent(Gillette Foamy)or sophisticated(Clubman). I would add Rise to the sophisticated team, but I don't know where you can purchase Rise anymore.....certainly not at RiseGrooming.com(which is plain weird).

    What an awesome looking set up, Joe! I am unfamiliar with Rod George razors, but that Catacomb 2 looks awesome--a fantastic razor for a Dia de los Muertos shave. Surrounded by so much cool stuff, I imagine it's hard for Grumpy to stay Grumpy ;)

    An inspiring shave, Evan--your work on that Fatboy is fantastic (with results like that, I can easily see how one might get hooked).

    I've been crazy anxious to see the process begin since you announced your intentions to forge one a couple months ago--because I won't have to deal with the frustrations, it just might be possible that I'm more excited about the self-forged razor than you are :happy102:

    Gorgeous photo and kit, Jason--brush, razor stand, razor, shave stick holder... it's all just awesome! :D

    The birth year razor confirms what the wool socks and Birkenstock Milanos seemed to imply--we are, indeed, the same age :happy102:
