What I want to know, is why somebody who doesn't put water on his shave soap thinks it is perfectly acceptable and normal to denigrate and malign someone else who does.

good morning gents,saturday shave..after a fun night of reliving the 70s,i am up early.good breakfast ,coffee and a great shave.up is te 1930 new deluxe criterion,loaded with a fresh gsb.the bbj boar built a fantastic razorock lather in the captain's bowl,near bbs in 2+ smooth passes.good enough for me..santa maria a/s caps it off.awesome.have a fine weekend everyone..

 

Thank you, Jason--in spite of all it had going against it, I got a surprisingly good shave from it. It was an arduous experience, though

Everyone slept in this morning. Maya and I took pup on a long walk followed by coffee and breakfast. I decided to pull out my Supply Co SE in matt stainless for this week. I like the Supply Co so much, I bought the razor in 3 different finishes. The little Rover did a wonderful job with the TOBS cream. Thankfully this cream is just about gone. Mr Taylors Shave Cream was one of my wife's misses. Three passes and touch ups ended in a drama free BBS shave. I find the Personna blades to shave rougher than the Schick Proline blades. Since 20 of the Personna blades came with each Supply razor I still have a lot of them left. A splash of Fine L'Orange Noir was the perfect end to the shave. I hope everyone has a great Saturday.

 

during the 70s,dad would crank up the national panasonic 8 track with 4 jensen speakers when driving in his car.he was into many musicians,buddy rich,marty robbins gold,and paul mccartney among others.he always really cranked it when the venus and mars tape got plugged in.many great times along with clouds of cigarette smoke.we are both into cars,action shows and movies.my younger brother hung out with my mom...lots of great memories.i always get nostalgic when i play that album....curfew not required..

SS & AS: Stirling Noir

2nd shave on this blade. I can see the polished edge on the bevel after stropping. Here's hoping that keeps the edge nice and sharp. I can tell I didn't push extra hard for a BBS shave yesterday. My stubble seemed noticeably longer to start with this AM.

2 light passes to a CCS finish. Good enough for a Saturday.
