SIR! TEXAS, SIR! :happy102 And good morning Jen, and.. umm.. everyone else. Just got up and thinking about getting ready for work. No, I correct myself, I'm trying not to think about having to get ready for work despite having to do so d'rectly.
yuck, hate it for you, get well (since it started yesterday, I hope it's not scurvy!) nice alliteration!
You got it.... Well that is Suthern as it gets then.. My dad is from Texas..I however am from Mississippi. On another note my mom just posted some pictures of my 40th bday on FB. Some of them have Granddad and myself in them. That was the day before his crash. A camera is a good thing to have.. Fuzzy
Well since you have to be southern to get a response in this thread today, how about I tell y'all for supper we had: Fried Chicken Mashed Taters and Gravy Hoppin John Collard greens Cornbread Watermelon rind pickles And I washed it all down with a grape Nehi bellywasher.
Not bad at all.. I like mustard or turnip greens more then the collard's but all of it is good. specially with some home made pepper sauce (Hot peppers and viniger)
Trust me, I would have much rather had the Southern meal rather than what I had. Let me just say the I don't think it is America's Roast Beef. In total agreement to that!
We should have a fried bologna night in here.. everyone have that for supper here in the future. ummm Round stake..heh Fuzzy
Yummy! Fried bologna night :drool, you can count 2 in my clan in, we can have it coincide with Grandpa Shave Friday?
The razor stand was bought for her, it is some of my razors that she took over. Now if you don't like fried bologna, don't click this link. I prefer more char on mine though.
huh... never had fried Spam. Now that I think about it, I don't think I have ever had spam at all. Other foods that I somehow missed out on: pickled pig's feet, tongues, brains, etc.... Sorry fried bologna mixed with Bill's fake out watermelon rind pickles has me thinking of pickled bologna as well. I really like pickled Bologna.. mmmmm
