    Thank you Jim. I can get 3 shaves with the FHS blades but the third one is a lot more work.

    Thank you Joe. The TOBS cream works great but this scent is just meh at best. Luckily it is just about gone. She did bring back a TOBS soap that is very nice. Since its triple milled it should last a very long time.

    I can't get my head around the whole idea of Mix Up May.

    I'll be sticking with MAYhem.

    I'll be honing (no experience) and shaving (very little experience) with my straight razors...

    ... I shave yesterday. It was rough. I honed today and it treetops arm hair from across the room. I'll shave again tomorrow!

    Razor: S•H Apollo light mild plate
    Blade: Gillette Platinum Blue (2)
    Brush: Stirling Finest
    Pre-shave: PAA The Cube
    Soap: Stirling Glacial Satsuma
    Stirling Orange Chill witch
    Stirling mentholated balm
    AS: Stirling Satsuma w/menthol

    Early shave, afternoon post.

    Went with the frozen ice water filled scuttle again but with a Stirling Glacial soap. Intense would be an understatement. Borderline painfully cold. Not sure if I'll combine a heavily mentholated soap with the frozen scuttle again anytime soon. The usual three passes for near BBS. The alum was totally silent. My face was numb so I think the alum was totally silent.
