A very nice relaxing shave after the morning ride. I did add some B&M Terorade to cool things down. Three passes and touch ups just missed the baby. I just forgot to buff my lower right neck. I hope everyone has a great Sunday.

I guess I need to answer the next question. Yes the car won.

    PSX_20200503_125924.jpg

We went a little over the top including making a wheel balancer and using the CNC to precision trim and align the whole car. Even with the sub par body design it won without question.

I'm not an engineer, but "my son" beat a bunch of engineers in our pinewood derby.

I've almost plowed through a 400 ml bottle of Floid Vigoroso in the last few months. I've had this bottle almost since the beginning of my traditional shaving journey. Not wanting to be "that guy," I was always hesitant to use too much aftershave. I have discovered over the past few months that I can safely increase the amount, and I like the cooling effect that comes with my menthol-containing aftershaves. At my current rate of use, I should be out of aftershave around the end of the year.

If I can concentrate on a few favorites going forward, I will be happy. By the time Black Friday rolls around, I should be ready to restock. This is what I'm looking to get for variety and to match up with my small rotation of favorite shaving products.

Alt-Innsbruck and Small Batch Shaving Tonic - have used them both and figure either will pair OK with Aramis, which is a staple in my Den.

Thayer's Arkadia - will pair this one with TdH, which is another staple in my Den. I figure it's close enough to Fine L'Orange Noir, and it comes with more skin friendly ingredients and even a touch of menthol.

TOBS Sandalwood - this will be a blind buy, but I do like the TOBS Sandalwood cream, which is also a staple in my Den.

What am I missing? I would appreciate any thoughts.

I am glad you took my advice on the films. I have enough films to last me for many years so I really don't need any stones unless I want to have them as another route to hone razors.

Fwiw, Charlie, I like the scent of L’Orange Noir a smidge more than Arkadia. I believe Clint has spoken very highly of the A&E TdH dupe as well.
