Actually I did not think about that. I use to live about 10 miles from Onward MS.. that would be where the bear hunt went down that the TEDDY BEAR was names after. They could also watch the Tom Berenger movie about the battle of San Juan Hill... can not remember the name.. Rough riders maybe???? Fuzzy
Thanks Jim.. from wikipedia This term was coined by President Theodore Roosevelt, who referred to the White House as a "bully pulpit," by which he meant a terrific platform from which to advocate an agenda. Roosevelt famously used the word bully as an adjective meaning "superb" or "wonderful" (a more common expression in his time than it is today);
Wrong question- the right question is, "do I care if someone complains?" or even "will anything change if someone complains?" In this case (and this case only) the correct answer is no to both versions of the question. Anyway, morning folks.
You guys are so vanilla. I'm seriously thinking about revoking your prevert cards. (Yes, I got that right, prevert---one who does nasty things before all the creeps think about it!) Artist rendering: Well, I went to the doctor yesterday, MOM. They did some tests and examined me thoroughly and it's official--I don't have a heart. Naw, the doc said I had an extra heartbeat and basically, it was causing my heart to skip. Today, I feel much better... it's hardly fluttered at all so far... he said it could be brought on by stress or too much caffeine. I can rule out the too much caffeine, because I really don't take in that much. It's pretty much as I figured--fatigue. At any rate, I feel better today though not about my paycheck. I hate all this limping along from check-to-check bidness.
The WARNING!!! The WARNING!!! You MUST post The WARNING Mike created when posting stuff like that! I'm on a laptop right now, it's not like a desktop where I can just replace the keyboard!!!!!!!!!! happy097:happy097
family's good. some evil sickness is passing through my son's dayschool but so far he's healthy. as for the LUX- honeymoon's over. It's not different enough from my other three pieces. And it seems to have blade centering issues, maybe because it's patterned after an Old Type. But the blade doesn't seem to have much play so I'm not sure I'm right about that. In any case, one side is aggressive and one side is mild. I like the handle a lot, though. Nice and grippy.
Okay, well step away from any and all electronic equipment, put down your drink. You might want to have a bucket at the ready though. Here's an artist's rendering of the last time I wore a kilt: What a handsome Devil (Move your mouse to reveal the content) What a handsome Devil (open) What a handsome Devil (close)
Thank you for that warning. You have saved countless keyboards and preserved many carpets with the inclusion of your simple, yet very accurate, message.
Ah, thanks, makes sense now. Don't really have any interest in the movie, but the wiki helped. I need to get myself a book of slang from the 20s. I would love to bring that stuff back.
I just don't get how people can feel taking showers in the morning wakes them up. I'm super sleepy now. I've been reading all the posts in here, but I'm too tired to recall what, if anything, most of them said. :ashamed001
That right there is funny.. I am going to get that poster size for my wall. I agree. For some reason I prefer to use stuff like that. I think we quote ourselves in here too much... but then again maybe not.
