    @9nein9 how's the MAYhem plans coming?

    Mayhem     is a common law criminal offense consisting of the intentional maiming of another person.

    Under the law of England and Wales and other common law jurisdictions, it originally consisted of the intentional and wanton removal of a body part that would handicap a person's ability to defend themselves in combat. Under the strict common law definition, initially this required damage to an eye or a limb, while cutting off an ear or a nose was deemed not sufficiently disabling. Later the meaning of the crime expanded to encompass any mutilation, disfigurement, or crippling act done using any instrument.

    thank you Jeff.it is a new short comb head.the handle is from my 1952 canadian military tech set.its the only part of that set i really use.is/was nos.i like the weight and grip..

    Thank you for the compliment Jeff! I have always shaved the back of my head without a mirror. I use a straight razor or a shavette to headshave every so often to keep my skills at a high level. Moreover, I do it just to change the headshave routine.

    2020 Shavette Focus Shaves # 35

    I enjoyed another really good two-passer this morning. I tried different skin stretches and XTG strokes on my chin with some success. Although I still have a way to go, I'm making progress on the more challenging parts of my mug.

    I treated myself to several splashes of Floid Vigoroso today in order to finish it off. After a large splash this evening, I enjoyed my first "real" menthol hit on my face and hands. I'm glad I tried it just to experience the full effect of what this aftershave has to offer. Neither my Bride nor I may get any sleep tonight, but sometimes you have to make sacrifices in the name of science. We'll run the ceiling fan in the bedroom tonight to keep the air turned over. :)

    I really can't tell. Could be one, the other, or even a mixture of both. I'm going to blame the lather (or rather, latherer) until I can get another shave out of the Silver Star. With me, I tend to side towards user error. Frankly, Stirling is such an easy soap to lather that fluffing it up when you didn't mean to really is a colossal user error ;)

    Wonderful shave, Keith! You've probably brought out the Cobra Classic since I've joined, the 30DC, but I don't remember seeing it--to choose it over the Joris is a pretty weighty endorsement :D

    I agree with you about the boar; I love the natural look of a boar--let the boar be a boar, says I ;)
