Yeah, I felt the same way (other than the un-even sides) and let the LUX go to someone who wanted it more.

They work for me... most of the time, and then there are the days where I fall asleep in the shower and.... well, it isn't a good idea.

if you do it right, it can invigorate you...and
if you do it right, it can relax you

a shower is a powerful thing indeed...unfortunately, mine's still backed up right now :(

I'm sure I've posted this before, but I needed a bit of a chuckle, so here goes

Great! Now I don't have to write my book:

The Unspoken Rules of the Men's Room and Other of Life's Mysteries Explained.

I think I'm going to skip shaving my head tonight. Last night I ripped it to shreds. Blood everywhere, TWGW even noticed, saying it looked like hamburger.

I saw that thing for the first time years ago. Haven't seen it in ages. Thanks for the post, Jim.

We still want to hear about those other mysteries, Micah.

One of them is "Why do Snickers taste better from the bathroom vending machine?"

Don't think I'll ever eat another Snickers bar again. Thanks, Jim.

I saw you were out of "them". You need to get more. I'm almost out myself. Last year, only one of the grocery chains near me carried it. This year, that grocery chain is still the only one in the area with "them". I wonder why the other one doesn't.

oh, I forgot to update: yes, I do have more of "them", about to put 1 or 2 to good use momentarily

Edit: oh, and sorry about the Snickers visual, I just was wondering when they started putting corn in them :sick007

Don't worry about the Snickers visual. I'm not that squeamish, really. So what's the deal with corn in Snickers now?

Do you have a Trader Joe's near you, Jim?

ahh, the "Snickers with corn" thing was a joke, along the lines of "restroom vending machine" - think "Caddyshack pool scene" :D

Trader Joe's, huh? Can't say I've heard of them, but I'll check...

ahh yes, the closest one is St. Louis, MO...a scant <500 miles away

Hahaha. Okay. Misunderstanding clarified. For some reason, I thought you meant they started putting corn flakes or something like that into Snickers. I get it now.

It's a hippie-esque grocery store. All the vegan and fair-trade, etc. kids like to shop there. They've got some good house brand stuff and some good prices on certain things (like milk and bread). I supplement my grocery shopping with a few things from their shelves. I was in there a couple days ago and picked up some pumpkin granola. Its pretty good. Any interest in trying some? I can mail you a bag or some in a ziploc bag if you'd like.

Just make sure you don't grab anybody's whatchamacallit!

*I cannot believe that "whatchamacallit" isn't flagged by spell check.

    Oooh, that sounds awesome!!!!
    let me know how much!

you know, the thought just hit me, they've got caramel Snickers (regular), and peanut butter Snickers (a long time ago - I used to eat them with a Crystal Pepsi, that'll give you an idea), wonder what a pumpkin Snickers would be like?

Time to shoot some emails to Mar's....

Also, I toyed with the idea of adding some pumpkin to my homemade granola recipe last year, might need to revisit that thought

make double-sure it's not their thingamajig if you do!

    *hey, "thingamajig" isn't flagged, either!

I love pumpkin. Mmm. Pumpkin Snickers sounds great. I love this time of year. It's when a young man's heart turns to pumpkin...

I think the bag of granola was a pound and was between $2.50 and $2.70. If that's alright with you, I can pick one up for you on the way home from work.
