@wristwatchb Charlie.... I love you as my brother, for all time. Jesus is the only... Savior and Lord. God walked amongst us.....
Chris, my brother, I enjoyed seeing the full Samurai watch rotation! You have some classy and rock solid pieces. I'm also a fan of the field watches, and I especially like how each watch in your case gets worn and has a special story attached to it. It seems like you're going to need a new watch case pretty soon. John 14:6
Got this Wenger Swiss Army 30 years ago in University. Polywatched the case, polished the steel and put on a new NATO this week. A nice weekender for the lake:
Just picked this one up the other day. 40mm pro-diver with the Swiss automatic movement. I swapped out the stainless steel band for a black leather one. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
I'm sad to say it...I picked up an Apple Watch at the turn of the new year and really haven't worn a ticker since. I feel stupid trying to wear a real watch and an Apple Watch so I stopped. I miss my real watches but I'll be damned if this Apple Watch isn't ridiculously useful.
Ditto. Been using smart watches for a few years now. Hard to beat the flexibility of not having to pick the mobile communicator out of my pocket.... Currently on an Apple W4. Can't wait to see what the 6 can do, and hopefully get some better watch faces, longer battery. Charging every 36 hours is a pain..... My favorite was the Garmin Fenix 5 (last choice before the Apple Watch 4). The Fenix 5 has the round design, great quality and looks. Some very respectable watch faces available. 5+ day battery life (uses e-ink colored technology). But, DARN....there are some seriously cool traditional watches still being produced. Just had a look while out and about at some Seikos, Citizens, Breitling and other chronographs.
Finally remembered to post in this thread. Today's watch is a Seiko Cocktail Time, this finish on this watch is just superb.
Good thing you didn't have a Grandfather clock that you were fond of. Sent from my LM-Q720 using Tapatalk
